Not all projects can be done overnight- even though we all wish they could be! While different variables can be the cause of a project taking time (client’s budget, location, change of ideas), There are always the “in progress” moments I like to capture, as it is exciting to see how a room goes through it’s process. Take a look below at some current projects I am working on.

NYC Apartment

This beautiful New York apartment sits in the heart of the Financial District, steps from the New York Stock Exchange. Set in a magnificent building dating back to 1907, this apt has 14 ft ceilings, 2 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and is “freestanding”- it has no shared walls, which maximizes the light from all the windows. Already existing: a black and white palette which leaves plenty to be imagined.

San Francisco Apartment

This amazing little apartment lies in the Marina area of San Fran, 2 blocks away from the gorgeous view of the Golden Gate bridge, and the Palace of Fine Arts. The current status of this apartment has a “culinary hipster bachelor” vibe, and we are in the process of polishing it up. Bringing in the Marina feel with a “bay blue” paint for the walls create height and boldness. Accents of coral and white will play into the feminine/ocean side, while chrome, wood, and black & white vintage photography will play up the masculine side. The bedroom will have soft layers of grays in textures for coziness as you can hear fog horns in the distance actually lull you to sleep.

Encino Home

We are focusing on different areas of the house, with the main current focus on the entry, living room and dining room. A beautiful entry with glass, mirror and art will welcome guests into a family friendly home with culture. The living room will be comfortable yet chic, kid-friendly, but with glamour. Hardwood floors are to be put in, and touches of cremes, black, and metallics will provide the furnishings. The formal dining room will have an asian inspired theme, more dramatic for dinner parties. Red lacquer, blacks and whites, and asian cloth screens will pull the room together.

Pasadena Guest Suite

This gorgeous home is already stunning, but an empty guest suite is providing a new canvas to play with. Backed to a beautiful garden separated by french doors, this room will blend the indoors and outdoors together in one seamless harmony. Soothing garden greens layered with floral fabrics and gold french antiques, styled with heirloom paintings and objects d’art, will create the perfect romantic retreat.
